lemur_catta and I are safely in Bangkok. It's an amazing, exhilirating, scary place. I'm getting quite good at the local blood sport; crossing the road. It feels similar to ice climbimg without being cold and wet. Today we went to see the Golden Buddha and took a trip by river bus. The kids arrive tomorrow night so tomorrow is our last bear and lemur only day sight seeing. Perhaps we'll go to Wat Ho to see the famous golden image of Bertie Wooster (or perhaps not). We'll likely be in Bangkok for two or three more days and then head up to Chiang Mai for a change of pace.
BTW the food is as advertised. Yesterday night we had a really good meal for about $5 including drinks, tip everything.
Hope everybody in Toronto is enjoying the snow as much as I am enjoying thinking about not being there.
