Is it ever cold this morning! I went out for an attempted run but the manky ankle refused to cooperate despite having a lace up brace on. I managed a brisk twenty minute walk to the accompaniment of Plato's Apology and the progressive freezing of my ears.

In other news, little grey kitten now weighs 600g and seems to be getting on just fine with the bengals.

Current Mood: froze

We were both in yesterday evening so I decided to cook. I don't always have the inclination but sometimes I just feel like it.

Here's what I came up with:

Green mango and shrimp salad
Greens (chrysanthemum leaves??) stirfried with basil, yellow bean sauce and chilli
Marinated, grilled chicken
Omelette and tomato soup
Sticky rice

I still haven't got sticky rice quite right. I think it probably really does need to soak overnight which is a problem when the lemur asks for sticky rice for dinner at 2pm.
