For the last ten years I have been driving a '95 Acura Integra GSR. It has been a fun little car but it is showing signs of reaching the end of its useful life. It needs over $1000 worth of work and will soon need some body work doing too. I figured it was time for a change. Now, the thing is I drive less than 10,000km/year on account of living downtown and using my bike, my feet and the TTC. Bottom line, I decided to sign up for
Autoshare. Now I can have a vehicle when I need one and not when I don't and I can even rent out my space in the parking garage. I didn't want to go to the hassle of selling my car privately so I asked the Acura dealership who have been servicing the car all these years what a good way of getting rid of it would be. Seems this was the right approach because apparently their mechanics like to buy older cars and fix them up. I like that because the buyer knows what he is getting and I don't feel on the hook for explaining what is right or wrong with the car. Anyway, as of tomorrow, the car will belong to one of the mechanics.
