1. I'm terrified of snakes. I'm the sort of person who usually confronts their physical fears but not snakes! Ewww.

2. I'm right handed but the left handed way of handling, for example, a cricket bat, feels much more natural.

3. I can visualise Hilbert space.

4. I talk to myself. Nowadays I can disguise this by talking to Jane instead.

5. I once spent most of a day walking around Seattle wearing chickenfeet. I have also been seen walking the streets of Toronto cradling a rugby ball like a baby and talking to it.

6. I keep very early hours. I am almost always up by 0630, usually much earlier.

7. I used to be very fond of chip butties but I haven't eaten one for ages.
