Spring has sprung
Apr. 17th, 2005 04:55 pmThe first true weekend of spring has left me happy but very tired.
Yesterday was spent hanging out with burner friends, barbecueing and drinking beer. It was a perfect day for it. The evening was spent in Burlington at a rugby old boys team quiz event. We finished third but only two points behind the winners. It did mean getting home well after midnight though. This is not good when one has to be uo by seven to feed hungry kittens.
Man Utd 4 Newcastle Utd 1 Woot!
First rugby of the season this afternoon in Brampton. Good numbers so we played eighty minutes with lots of substitutions. Basically i got to play blind side flank, ten minutes, ten off, That was just about the right level of activity for me in a pretty hard, fast game. I got through lots of work and made a couple of good breaks. Good to see lots of people I haven't seen for a while plus Rideout's cute new lady friend.
The ankle is behaving itself.
All in all a good weekend.
