A very silly game from [livejournal.com profile] felinitykat

ATTENTION PLEASE: I would like your assistance in keeping me amused!

I want to test how well I know you all. With this in mind I have turned off IP address logging, and am temporarily allowing anonymous comments. I would like you to leave a comment , saying exactly what you might say anyway, but doing so anonymously so that I can see if I can recognise you from your writing style. A minimum word limit of 20 words, perhaps?

I know it makes the whole commenting lark a lot more artificial (especially as all you have to comment on is me talking about you commenting), but humour me? I'm fascinated to see if I can spot people purely from the style in which they write. If this post doesn't inspire you then feel free to comment here in response to another post (but let me know which one!).

(Only disclaimer: if you never usually comment on my journal, or even worse never comment here or update your own journal, then you're not really qualified to join in the game as I don't stand a chance. Unless you're someone I know really, really well in Real Life.)

So comment, pretty please! Say anything you like, really, provided you don't deliberately change your style just to fox me.

And if I guess wrong (and I bet I do) then don't be offended...

No, but you don't know me that well, and I didn't give you much to go on. Now I'm at a loss as to what I should ramble on about, but I want to give you a fighting chance, so I'll just keep tippity tapping along and hope this helps a bit more than the original comment. It's a bit rainy and cold out today, which is a shame since it was so windy yesterday. I'll just put on my rain gear and brave the elements tonight, though. Does that help any?

Wrong again! I'm finding this fascinating from the other side as I wander the people's journals whom you've been comparing me to. *waves at [livejournal.com profile] franki_ecap and [livejournal.com profile] ajhalluk* It's rather like seeing yourself on camera and thinking, is that how how everyone else sees me? It's a nice shift in frame of reference.

Le'ts see. I'll try and be more helpful. I love the kitten posts. They make me want to quit my job or at least live somewhere more affordable so I can take in kittens and be a full-time mom to them. The sock drawer incident was priceless. Your rugby updates make me miss my more sporting days. I wish I could cook as well as you, but I don't spend much time in the kitchen. We share some of the same mental . . . challenges . . . yeah, that's what I'll call them today. I am currently living in the land of your birth, but it's a temporary sojourn.

Shit! I thought I had logged out. Dumb me. That's ok, you were probably getting tired of guessing.

I think it would have been an awfully long time before I guessed you!

Yeah, I'm just random enough in my commenting and new enough to your journal . . .

I think I was wondering if my writing sticks out like a sore thumb an elegant example of the English language that still signals the humanity and warmth behind the words. *cough cough*

I still love this meme, though.
